  1.                        Aneurysm (Artery Ballooning)
  2. SYMPTOMS. Signs depend upon the location of the illness. If it is in the
  3. abdomen there will be an agonizing, boring back or abdomen pain. If it is in
  4. chest there will be back or chest pain, labored breathing, coughing and some
  5. difficulty in swallowing. If the artery has a ruptured inner coat that
  6. allows blood to escape between the artery wall or layers there may be severe
  7. chest pain similar to that experienced during a heart attack.
  8. CAUSES. High blood pressure often accompanies aneurysm. It may be associated
  9. with hardening of the arteries. The trunk line artery called the aorta is
  10. most often affected.
  11. TREATMENT. If left unattended an aneurysm may rupture, spilling blood.
  12. .Preventive surgery may be required.
  13. .Medication may be required to lower the blood pressure.
